Back the continuing strike at The Ivy House pub, Nunhead, South East London

Reinstate the Ivy House 4

On Sunday 30 October workers at The Ivy House pub in Nunhead, South East London went on strike following the sacking of four people on zero hours contracts.

The members of the BFAWU (Bakers’ Food and Allied Workers Union) union say they are taking continuing wildcat strike action until the workers are reinstated, zero hours contracts are dropped and their right to a union is recognised.

The Ivy House pub in Nunhead prides itself as “London’s first community-run pub”, but the actions of the management don’t seem very “community-friendly”!

You can follow developments in the strike via @ivyhouseunion

Please also donate to their strike fund and circulate it as widely as possible.
