Over 2,700 Teaching Assistants Assistants in Durham are standing up and fighting back against a vicious, life changing pay cut of up to 23 percent. These workers play a crucial role in our schools, looking after our children and providing invaluable support. It is nothing short of outrageous to devalue their jobs in this way. They are absolutely right to strike and deserve widespread solidarity from right across the trade union movement.
