Protest for migrant cleaners: living wages and dignity now! 100 Wood Street, 5pm, Weds 29 June

From United Voices of the World

Wednesday June 29, 5pm, 100 Wood Street, London, EC2V 7AN

Please come and support our protest at 5pm on Wednesday, 29th June, in support of the cleaners at 100 Wood Street who are paid poverty wages and have been unlawfully dismissed by the anti-union, anti-living wage cleaning contractor Thames Cleaning and Support Services Limited (“Thames”).

As well as coinciding with the start of the 4th week of the first all out strike in the history of the City of London, this protest also marks the start of the national campaign against CBRE, the Fortune 500 commercial real estate company who is either encouraging Thames Cleaning’s disgusting employment practices.

All the cleaners are asking for are their rights to be respected and to be paid a wage they can live on.
