Wednesday 5 November: St Mungo’s Broadway workers launch 10 day strike

The St Mungo’s Broadway strikers launch a ten day strike on the morning of Wednesday 5 November, following their very effective seven day strike. Below is the strike itinerary.

During the last strike they picketed at 19 different locations in the morning, before moving on to various protests.

There are picket lines each day at the locations above followed by the following protests:

Wednesday 5 November:

10am: All to Griffin House! Mass rally followed by a further visit to Paul Doe, chair of the St Mungo’s Broadway Board

Thursday 6 November:

9:15am: Coach departs Unite HQ, 128 Theobald’s Rd (nearest tube Holborn), to join our members in Bristol for a lobby of Bristol Council (assemble 1:30pm, College Green, Bristol). Coach returns to London approx 6:30pm

Friday 7 November:

10:30am: Protest outside the Homes and Communities Agency, 2 Marsham St, London SW1P 4DF (nearest tube St James’s Park)

Monday 10 November:

10:30am: Protest outside the City of London Corporation, Guildhall, Gresham St, London (nearest tube Moorgate)

Tuesday 11 November:

11am: Protest outside Ealing Town Hall, New Broadway, Ealing W5 2BY (nearest tube Ealing Broadway)

Wednesday 12 November:

11am: Protest outside Enfield Civic Centre, Silver Street, Enfield EN1 3ES (nearest rail: Enfield Town – trains from Liverpool St)

Thursday 13 November:

10:30am: Lobby of Parliament

Friday 14 November:

10:30am: Protest outside Southwark Council, 160 Tooley St, London SE1 2TZ (nearest tube London Bridge), THEN march to protest (11:30am) outside the GLA, City Hall, The Queen’s Walk, London SE1 2AA
