Strike action at Defence Support Group (DSG) stepped up today as more than 800 Unite members began four days of strikes. They are fighting against an effective pay cut and for a decent rise of 8 percent.
DSG workers maintain, repair and overhaul military equipment for the Ministry of Defence (MoD). The workers face privatisation as DSG is being being sold off next year. Workers took two very successful days of strike action in October this year.
