Solidarity with firefighters’ 96-hour strike from 6pm Friday 31 October: collection sheet

25 October 2014

Firefighters in the FBU union have now escalated their dispute, against attacks on their pensions by calling a 96-hour strike from 6pm on Friday 31 October.

The Tories want to force firefighters to work until 60 to get their full pension.
But the government’s own report says two thirds of firefighters will not be able to continue working until that age!

If they are forced to retire earlier, they could lose half their pension. Back the action being taken by the FBU and pledge to build maximum solidarity with their fight.

Visit the picket lines from 6pm on Friday 31 October onwards and take them a collection.

Unite the Resistance has produced a collection sheet for the strikes download the pdf here
