The Care UK strikers are holding a day of action today, their 81st day of strikes since February.
Their intransigent employer Care UK have driven through a raft of attacks on their pay. The former NHS workers are fighting to defend the health service.
Care UK is owned by Bridgepoint Capital. A faceless hedge fund that also owns outlets like Pret a Manger and Fat Face.
Today, protests are being held in solidarity with the strikers who have a day of action at Care UK’s Heaven’s Walk offices in Doncaster.
A protest outside Pret a Manger in Vauxhall launched the day’s solidarity protests with more to come.
