hard up festival frontOn the day that the Tory Conference opens in Birmingham the Midlands TUC has called a protest and festival.

After the event there will be a follow up meeting to discuss organising for the coming strikes and TUC demonstration.

Plus speakers from Health worker unions, Further Education workers, Disabled People Against the Cuts and anti cuts campaigns.
The meeting will also be addressed by Kamal Hawash, Palestine Solidarity Campaign.

There is an urgent need to organise determined resistance to the Tories and austerity. This meeting is an opportunity to discuss building solidarity between workers struggles, and with campaigns fighting the effects of austerity.

The meeting has been organised by Birmingham People’s Assembly, Birmingham Trades Union Council, Unite the Resistance and Birmingham Against the Cuts.
