Britain needs a pay strike… BACK THE STRIKES… FIGHT TO WIN… Stand up to scapegoating
10 July looks set to see 1.5 million striking across Britain, with Unison local government, NUT teachers and PCS civil service workers out. FBU fire fighters have escalated strikes over pensions and could join action on the day too. NHS workers are set to fight on pay this autumn. These will be the biggest strikes against austerity since June 2011.
Extended strikes at Care UK, Lambeth College and the Ritzy cinema are key focuses of solidarity for the whole movement. We need a united fightback, especially as UKIP’s Euro election success has opened the door to scapegoating migrant workers.
How do we build for mass action to beat the Tories?
Can we build widespread solidarity for all those fighting back?
Come along and join the discussion.
