From Unite’s website:
On Wednesday 11 June, the therapists will be protesting at Greenwich council’s annual general meeting at the town hall in Wellington Street, London SE18 6PW from 17.30.
Unite regional officer Onay Kasab said: “Greenwich council now needs to urgently address the complaints of bullying, harassment and victimisation made by Unite.
“The message is clear – we will take action again and again until our complaints are addressed.
“We are asking people to support our pickets during the two-day action. The pickets will be in force from 07.00 to 10.00 and, more importantly, we are asking for support from the public for the protest at the council’s annual meeting.
“The allegations against our suspended member are ridiculous. We demand the suspension is lifted and that the newly elected councillors at Greenwich take this opportunity to engage constructively with Unite to resolve this dispute.”
The therapists had voted by 100 per cent for strike action.
