Care UK workers who care for adults with learning disabilities begin a further 48 hour strike from Sunday 6 April at 7am.
The strikers have put this call out on their Facebook page (available here: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Doncaster-Supported-Living-Unison-Strike/1465854936976109)
“We welcome delegations to attend and speak and give support at our strike, tomorrow, Sunday from 10.30 – 12.00″
The picket line is located at Heaven’s Walk, Doncaster and is easily reached from Doncaster’s well connected train station: https://email@example.com,-1.131209,17z
They also plan further strikes, having voted unanimously for this at their last mass meeting.
A solidarity demonstration for Care UK has now been called in Doncaster for 11am on Saturday 19 April, assembling in Civic Square Waterdale.
Trade unionists from across the country are invited to attend on that day to show their support and bring banners. Spread the word…let’s show Care UK the strikers are not alone!
