Thousands of teachers to strike back against Gove on 1 October

Members of the NUT & NASUWT will strike across the Midlands, Eastern and Yorkshire regions tomorrow (Tuesday 1 October). The action is part of a campaign of regional strikes with national action planned later this year. The two unions, fighting attacks on national pay, represent some 90 percent of classroom teachers.
