Following 9 days of strike action at John Gulson School in Coventry by NUT and NASUWT members over excessive observations and a punitive Appraisal/Capability Policy, teaching unions managed to get talks with the Local Authority and Governors.
Unfortunately the two areas that the LA and Governors have refused to move on are directly related to the ‘trade dispute. Teachers took their 10th day of strike action today and have 4 further days planned, tomorrow, 4th July and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday next week.
Please can you send messages of support to those teachers via montyhaul@hotmail.com NUT Rep at the school and copy it to coventry.nut@btconnect.com
