Hundreds of campaigners gathered outside the Old Bailey in London and in Manchester outside the Crown Court on the 64th anniversary of the introduction of Legal Aid.
Chris Grayling and the Tories have already made some concessions under pressure but still want to make massive cuts (320 million) to legal aid funding and are set to hand over the justice system to a handful of big firms.
Yesterday’s protests were organised by the Justice Alliance.
