Management at the University of Liverpool have announced the issuing of S188 dismissal notices to 2,803 non-academic staff: 54% of the University’s workforce. A packed members meeting last Monday condemned the use of contract termination and called upon the branch leadership to prepare for industrial action against this management offensive.
