When hundreds of FBU members last lobbied the London Fire Authority, it voted against fire station cuts.
But Tory Boris Johnson wants to overturn their decision. That’s why the FBU has called a lobby of the Emergency meeting of LFEPA on Monday 11 February at 1pm, 169 Union St, London SE1 0LL.
Spread the word–come down with a delegation from work–bring your union banner!
In local areas now, trade unionists and activists are beginning to pull together public meetings to discuss how to build local campaigns around threatened fire stations to stop their closure.
In Camden and in Clapham, public meetings to save the fire stations are already being organised.
