Tesco lorry drivers in Doncaster on all out strike

Get behind all out strike in Doncaster
Tesco lorry drivers in Doncaster are on all out strike. This is a crucial dispute involving Unite members that the whole movement has to get behind.
Already mass protests and pickets have been held that have hit the employers hard. On Monday 10 December mass pickets shut the depot.

It’s crucial that every union branch and campaign is sending messages of support, raising money, getting to the picket lines if that’s possible and inviting the strikers to speak at meetings.
The all out strike began in response to a “completely unsatisfactory” offer to settle the dispute.
Drivers believe that Eddie Stobart Ltd (ESL) has been trying to get rid of them since their transfer from Tesco in August.

Unite the Resistance is calling on trade unionists to take the fight to Tesco. A placard and leaflet supporting the drivers will be up on our website on Tuesday 11 December.
