Bus drivers at Abellio Surrey will strike for 24 hours on Monady 13 August over pay and duty rosters.

The Unite trade union members are fending off a pay freeze by Abellio, a subsidiary of Netherlands Railways that runs trains and buses in several parts of the UK and across Europe. Figures released by Unite show Abellio made £210m profit in 2011.

Unite members at Abellio Surrey’s garage in Byfleet will be on the picket line on Monday.
