New print run: our Action Plan – the alternative to austerity

The strikes on 30 November saw up to three million workers strike over pensions and make a stand against austerity.

But activists fighting against cuts, job losses and the rest of the austerity attacks are often asked what we are for. What is the alternative?

Our action programme sets out an alternative to austerity, unemployment, cuts and privatisation that starts with meeting real needs for healthcare, education, jobs and homes – and shows that the money is there to pay for this.

We have now reprinted our Action Programme after selling all 10,000 copies from our first print run – order copies for your union branch, workplace or campaign group now!

Please order online, or see the instructions for ordering by post – or for small numbers – below.

About the convention

We are a group of trade unionists from the NUT, PCS, Unison, Unite and UCU who have called a national convention to discuss the coordinated strike action set to take place on 30 November.

We are hoping that this conference will bring together trade union activists, anti-cuts campaigners, young people, students and pensioners in order to build the widest possible support for the strikes.

If your trade union branch or organisation would like to sponsor the conference, please CLICK HERE to add your support.
